I’m Aldric. I’m a 26 year old guy from Sarawak who is discerning my life’s direction. I consider myself the most blessed person on Earth!

No, I didn’t win the lottery, I don’t have a car, and I am certainly not a millionaire! What I do have is a loving family who supports me, wonderful mentors who guides me, awesome friends from many walks of life and a line of work that allows me to spend time with them and make new friends!

Why Discerning Life Together?

With this blog, I want to share my findings from my discernment. Let me be blunt: I believe that God is calling me to serve Him in His Church. He has called me in my childhood, in my teens and my early 20s. But I have never taken it seriously. However, things changed since June 2011. I have been blessed with the opportunities to explore that vocation and to test it.

I want to test ideas and principles from the “secular world” and adept them into Church ministry. I believe we are in the world, though we are not of the world. I believe that there are reasons for God allowing what has happened in the past – the good, the bad and those in between. I believe that we ought to stop giving leftovers to God and His Church. Leftovers in the form of our experience, our contributions, our attitude and our behaviour. All these help me to make sense of the future, to see how ideas and principles
